On the other hand, most of those bugs may be fixed by the time of final release. They are obviously working on them, otherwise they would release it now.
I would so like to believe you but after the 1809 farce, I'm erring on the side of caution....or is it cowardice?

The only official statement I'm aware of was that given in post #1 which said "late May". MS said that it would first be released to the Release Preview Ring, then...

    Microsoft said:
...We will begin broader availability in late May for commercial customers, users who choose the new May 2019 Update for their Windows 10 PC via “check for updates"...
That doesn't actually rule out an earlier release of the ISO via the Media Creation Tool, but it does rule out getting it through Windows Update until near the end of the month.

Sorry to say that some users are confusing the version's name "Windows 10 May 2019 Update" with the official release date. That is simply not the case. As @Bree has just pointed out, the only thing we know about the date for Official release is "late May", which is definitely not specific.

We do know that the version is 1903 late may..Maybe but May 10 would make MS look better.

That's a fact, because MS is already late, very late for this FU which was supposed to be delivered since March. We are now in May. On the flip side, I understand also they are being very careful not to repeat the same mistake made for 1809. Who can blame them?.
