I'll keep to my plan of deferring feature updates for at least 6 months to give MS time to iron out the initial bugs
But you haven't had that in Win7 for years. It's all in a 'Monthly Rollup' now, just like a Win10 CU.

There are good arguments for sticking to 1809, not least of which is that it is the build chosen for the current LTSB/LTSC.

The degree of control and transparency is miles ahead of Win10: Clear differentiation of optional and critical updates, precise info on size of downloads (critical for users with low data caps), ability to indefinitely delay download of any update (not just defer download), and finally the ease and convenience to do all this by merely ticking, or unticking, a box.
