It will download and install itself automatically when you're away from keyboard for a while. Then restart too in your non-active hours, or next time you shut it down. Microsoft got a bunch of bad press when W10 initially launched because of its intrusive update process, so they made a few changes over the years to rectify that.

Yeah, I don't know exactly when Microsoft will force security updates to us with disregard to active hours, but I usually get them the day after the release because I usually leave my computer on for the day. Once I come back the PC has restarted and on the login screen.
