Interesting. 5 computers running .116 and none have a reboot problem, or any other problems.
I think it was the 1809 CU that caused the problem.

Nopes, that was the upcoming update who did this... and now they are fixing it!

I've had 19H1 18362.116 for several days now, and have had no problems. It looks good to me so far.

Here's the straight skinny on this, RingTail:

Microsoft says that a known issue will block Windows 10 from booting after trying to restore the system to a restore point created before installing a Windows 10 update.

The issue affects all Windows machines where system protection is turned on and a system restore point has been created prior to installing one or more Windows 10 updates.

When users try to restore the system after the Windows 10 updates have finished installing, the system will not be restored and, instead, "the computer experiences a Stop error (0xc000021a)" and, after restarting the computer, the system will not be able to return to the Windows desktop.
What this tells me is that if I've created a new Restore Point prior to installing updates, and if I'm not happy with the update I just received, and I try to "Restore", things won't work.

From what this says, I'm guessing this has been an ongoing problem.

Will this problem rear its ugly head if instead of using System Restore, we use the Rollback option in Update & Security, which is what we're supposed to do.

Of course, as you can see, I'm no longer eligible for a Rollback, since it seems I installed 18362.xxx more than ten days ago.

no. MCT tool is version 10.0.18362.1, the same one that leaked in mid-April and pulled by MS and now re-posted 5/21 with an updated products.xml file that now downloads the 1903 ESD files

So 1903 is NOT the right one?
