Yes, MSPaint will be included in 1903..
So, it seems, are the Snipping Tool, Backup and Restore (Windows 7) and 'create a system image'.

That's interesting @Bree because for some time now, at opening, Snipping Tool has displayed thus:

I forget exactly with which CU this started but are you saying that Snipping Tool users will not be forced to use Snip & Sketch in future?

I do hope so - however many features the the later programs may offer, Snipping Tool is like Paint in that it is a simple tool for most of my needs. "K.I.S.S"

I backed up the snipping tool so when MS dumps it I'll still have a copy of it.

I'm saying that the 1903 ISO for 18362.30 that I used to upgrade my test VM includes Snipping Tool. This is the (apparently) RTM build available now on MSDN.

Snip & Sketch is actually just as easy to use, and in 1903 it finally gets the missing function - the 'window snip'.

to both the above. Remember you need both the *.exe and its *.exe.mui in a language sub-folder (EN-US, EN-GB, or whatever your system language is). Place these in a folder of your choice and run them from there. You can even back up 'Backup & Restore' this way (though why anyone should want to is a moot point). It's the sdclt.exe/sdclt.exe.mui pair.

I do wonder if they take more care to listen to the feedback hub this time around. I wouldn't like getting this May Update and all of the sudden my OneDrive files are gone. Of course, I do have backup of everything, but still. Can't believe it's another whole month left until it's being pushed out. Surely they must've learned from last time... right?

3rd party links only and once you download it, you can verify the hash to see, if it is genuine.

I am not an MSDN subscriber either. I got my ISO for 18362.30 from UUP Dump. This video shows how...
