Shouldn't there have been some sort of "Brightness Slider" added to the action center?
Like what's shown in the image below, or is this only for laptops?

    Attachment 229454

    Hello George,

Correct, it'll only be available for laptops and tablets, but the brightness slider in Action Center won't be available until build 18277 and higher. However, it's gone for me in build 18362.

Seeing as 1903 is out soon I'll just wait until April 9th - patch tuesday.
Since I'm not as technically oriented as most members, I feel better having patches/updates spread out over time. Easier to identify what causes a problem, or which update fixed a problem.

Downloading & installing now. If my earlier analysis on the RP is valid, it leaves 6 packages behind for cleanup in its wake. Definitely worth running DISM /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup on this one! I recovered 9.51 GB on the Surface Pro 3 this morning and blogged about it, too: Second Reboot Fixes DISM StartComponentCleanup Error 6824 - Windows Enterprise Desktop.

Thank you for the article. Is this done occasionally automatically or will that sit unless cleaned? I've used the DISM "restore health" command but have not seen this. Is this different from using Disk Cleanup>Clean System files?

No, but the previous one never came out of RP..
that would be the .402 version (build 17763.402) of KB4490481 released only in RP in late March but felt like it was "incomplete." the .404 version seemed to be the "finished" one. my PC running Win10 LTSC 2019 (v1809) just got KB4490481 (the 404 version) several hours ago and so far no serious problems with it. though I ran a WU scan on a friend's PC running Win10 v1809 Pro a few hours ago but did not receive KB4490481. so it seems that KB4490481 will be delivered in "waves" or stages.

about someone saying that 1903 being released April 9? I highly doubt it now since I saw this mentioned here:

UPDATE 4/2: We have released Build 18356.21 (KB4496796) to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring who are currently on Build 18356.16. This update will get Insiders who are on Build 18356.16 back into a good state so they can update to Build 18362. We are allowing a few days for this update to roll out before offering Build 18362 – so that means Insiders will still not see Build 18362 offered after updating to Build 18356.21. But stay tuned!

I've had 1809 since it came out October 2, and so far, everything has just worked. Don't remember any problems.
Same here, but this CU is not auto-pushed so I'll just wait until I get it on the 9th. Microsoft learned me that I don't want to manually do things on my computer. I still have a PC that's on 1803 and I am doing an experiment to see what will happen to it when updates are rolling out automatically.

    BSOD for me! Yay!
Tried 3 times already. Something about a service exception. I'm sure it is caused by using that program Win10 Privacy
No biggie. Have to use the backup from Oct.
Multi-boot system with many backups from that program Drive Snapshot. It backs up my Win10 partition is 2m1s. Restores it in less than 4 min. while booted in another partition. Image is compressed to 13.3 GB. Is that fast or what?
    Edit: Restored in 3m 02s

Image that didn't have Win10 Privacy took the update no problem.

    Hi Brink and everyone,

I like doctorwizz above also have BSOD on every machine I have after restarting to complete this update. They all run Win 10 Enterprise. I don't have any special software running and I've never had such problems before. I got out of the fix by doing a system restore and I'm back at 17783.379 now. I tried an experiment or two. I tried the standalone windows catalog installer....same thing. I tried also the installer for kb4493510 and strangely it said it was already installed (but its not...well not that I can see). Its all very odd.
