    Hi,
Too bad MS didn't dump the edge naming.

Extensions from the Chrome Store will work if you load them unpacked (manifest issue).

    Feedback

Changing the default search engine is an old version of Chromium. Pin favorites to task bar works (html file). The settings menu disappears as in old Edge. The skin too basic needs a new dress. The browser is not recording startup page offline and it must be close 3 times before setup takes effect.

New tab remains an issue. Blank option is not available, nor a specific url. This is a carbon copy! There is no way to remove the search engine and on top of it, the bottom of the page is not what I'm looking for in a browser(4%). This is not a Chromium new tab, even Opera (a shopping center) offers a switch to hide search engine.
Ccleaner Pro and Revo are detecting the browser. adguard.exe (extensions free) detects the new browser and works properly. Removing Edge in Ccleaner opens the browser in the MS sign in window. Registry cleaner detects properly the removal of Edge. The task bar shortcut is also properly removed.

The best new tab experience in Chromium is in Brave Nightly x64. The one to beat!

Bookmark about:blank and Ctrl/Shift click it to open in a new focused tab.

Thanks for replying @Edwin, but I think we don't have the same version. Mine was a Zip file from an unknown website. There was no option to remove it with no edit. Will try that next time: Bookmark about:blank and Ctrl/Shift click it to open in a new focused tab.

    Why does Microsoft even bother?
    It's dead, Jim.
