    Hi folks

when using UUPDUMP should you choose the Cumulative update or the Feature update !!! --I started with the cumulative update but If I were to choose the feature update would it also include the cumulative update(s) as well.

    Cheers

    Hi folks

Got a few Net 4/3 updates too with this but all OK --both VM and Real machine

Note if you use UUPDUMP on this you need to look at console a few times because it "appears to hang" when adding a load of stuff to wim(s) just hit enter key --seems to wake it up

    eventually ISO gets produced.

    Iso created :

    Cumulative Update KB4490481 Windows 10 RP Build 17763.402 - March 20-iso.png

    After install and updates :

    Cumulative Update KB4490481 Windows 10 RP Build 17763.402 - March 20-wind.ver.png

    All working OK

    Cheers

    Hi folks

will this build continue to get updates as per standard Windows build or is this now a bit of an orphaned build (like "Piltdown Man " !!) in which case I either ought to revert back or update to one of the insider builds which still have some defects for me though. This build appears to work properly for me.

    Cheers

It is currently getting previews of non security updates to 1809.
Probably the next thing it will get will be 19H1 before its GA.

This is what it is designed to do.

    Hi there @kado897

Suspend and resume Virtual Machine doesn't work on this build though --ist time I've tested that --- Machine suspends OK but on resuming it's just a black screen -- however you can power off the VM so you don't need to re-boot the HOST !!. Using VMware workstation 15.0.3 .

Seems not all the problems with VM's and these builds have been fixed yet !!! so if RTM is just around the corner somebody should be looking at these issues.

I'm not a huge fan of HYPER-V until the whole process of managing external USB / other hardware is made a bit more useable -- for simply file sharing HYPER-V is fine though but I do other things on the VM's as well. Accessing the VM's through HYPER-V via RDP isn't the nicest of experience either even with a decent 1Gb/s LAN. I don't have problem with Linux Host and access via XRDP or KRDP - so it could be something in my setup -- perhaps I'll work on that later.

    Cheers

and LTSC 2019 which is based on 1809 will be supported until January 2029 as noted in the revised Win10 release info page from Microsoft:
Windows 10 - release information | Microsoft Docs

edit: still waiting to see if KB4490481 will become an official update today 3/29 - a few people in another forum were telling me they're receiving KB4490481 it thru Windows Update right now (and they're not in the RP ring) though that might be a WU glitch

looks like MS will not be releasing another update for 1809 this March as the month is almost over
