There is no 18363. Also 1809 is a different OS than 1903.
    sorry I meant 18362.1 - typo.

Yeah I understand that 1809 is a different OS than 1903 but there must be common bugs between the two?

Just trying to understand how MS does it branching and builds and how well fixed 1903 is today?

18362.1 is likely to have a lot of issues that will need to be resolved, it's not even released yet.

ok understood. I'm not asking my question very well...

Will the bugs just fixed in 17763.404 be fixed before 1903 goes GA?

We don't know what issues in 1809 that was fixed apply to 1903. it is assumed that Microsoft at some point will release an update to fix any known issues. But as end users we are unaware and just guessing. So there is no answer to your question.

Okay thank you. This is what I suspected. Good to have it confirmed.

Still fighting with an intermittent night light feature here. I'm wondering if a clean install will fix it but it's pretty close to release and I don't want to do it 2x.

"Hey all, I have a small update on the status of this. We have a fix we are in the process of validating. I can't give you an exact ETA, but it wont be long much longer. For those of you still on 18356.16 and have not done the work around, we appreciate your patience! "

Still looks like it's going to be a while yet...

As far as 'it has never been a number', since when did MS do anything consistent with regards to naming and versioning.?
