Hi there
Agree --who wants to carry around a bunch of DVD's around !! --there's also loads of programs out there to rip old DVD's / CD's anyway so I can't understand why people still want old DVD's.
Sometimes if I get a CD / DVD from say a Supermarket included in a magazine or newspaper then it's easier enough to rip it anyway -- if you don't like MP3 for audio it's easy enough to rip to FLAC or other lossless formats --even Blu Ray DVD's are dying -- quality now available from 4K UHD streams from Netflix / Amazon / Sky make it so easy to store on SSD. I'd love to see some of today's Uni students having to write their doctoral (Phd.) theses on old papyrus with wax pens !!! That will teach them what using old technology was like. !!!
Cheers

Sorry to dissapoint you guys, I have an extremely modern high end desktop rig, which contains THREE blu ray writer drives. Nothing like browsing my disc collection copying three at a time of them to my pc, or burning three dvd audio discs for my car all at once.
Take a look at MYCE website forums, it is full of optical media enthusiasts even today
Kinda like old vinyl LP record buffs. They are fanatics about them. (I have a few dozen parked away.......)
BTW, your support ends in 12 days....
