    Depends what the bug is. Who is to say what other builds it is in. In any case they wouldn't want to release it onto RP until they knew what the cause was.

    I'm not sure they even understand these bugs... I read from a link in a previous post about error 0x80242016 affecting slow ring.. this should have surfaced in fast ring (and fixed there) as it's a generic post boot error...

    Except there was never an update from 18356.16 in the Fast Ring. It was from 18356.1.

    Well then I dunno - staged testing is one thing but this kind of thing is awfully difficult to manage if the test bed changes at each release... without a sign-off of a previous release.

    Edit: Granted I do not have a full understanding of the specifications for each ring, just makes more sense getting the basics right..like replicating an environment to a broader user base.

    I had a image of 18361..went back to it a few days ago ..today my ms store apps starting auto updating...I think their finally fixing that issue...can't wait to see if it's gone in the next build ..the whole apps crash and auto update...
