    Does this means new driver are a MUST for this Creative soundchip to work?? I have an old, but very good, Auzentech X-Fi soundcard in my gamerrig, and that is why I only run Insider on my laptop. As Auzentech is out of buisness, and have been for severel years, I'm guessing that I can't get a new driver for it.
    @Burgurne
    The first and big issue is a certification problem. That is why they released new driver.
    U can try to take sound if u disable the secure boot in motherboard.
    Only the hardware creator can change the certification and with auzentech u are out of lack.

    Got a strange issue! I have a Lenovo T530 laptop....and I was able to install 18362....after several failing tries of the update site, but eventually had to install via the ISO on a USB. EVERYTHING is working.....so I am very pleased. I do have one small issue. When I close my laptop lid for longer than 30 seconds....then when I open it up the screen is black. I have ALL power options turned to never shut down....ultra performance mode for each and every setting. Hibernation has been removed with the Powercfg command. I also have the "Do Nothing" when the lid closes. I did not have this issue with 1809 at all. I was having to hold down the power button to shut down and then power it back up, but I found the key sequence of WIN-CTR_SHIFT_B....which resets the graphics driver, and it immediately pops me back to the desktop without shutting down. It does not happen when I am docked with my two external monitors and the lid is shut....only when it is on its own....with battery or power....it doesn't matter. I have downgraded the intel video driver....but it did not fix it. I can live with it....but the engineer is dying inside to get to the bottom of the issue. Any thoughts or ideas on how to find the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much..!!

    In my opinion this is a clear indication that they don't plan to release another build and that the build 18362 is "the one".

    If the bug only affects those that upgrade from build 18356.16 to build 18362, they could release this build on the RP ring, because the RP ring is in the build 17763 and I don't think there are bugs when upgrading from that build to the build 18362, although you never know...

    They aren't going to leave people stuck on 18356. They likely want them all upgraded and see the data they are providing before proceeding to RP. We saw what happened last release when Microsoft decided to skip release rings.

    Of course not, the blog clearly says that they will re-release the build with a fix.
