    Well, I upgraded to 19H1, and tested it. Apart from sandbox, this build is just full of cosmetic flim-flam.

    MS - you have lost the plot.

    Hi there.

    @linw

    @kado897

    Actually this build seems to have fixed issues with VMware , some with Vbox (can't verify that myself as I don't use it but others seem to have posted on that), display languages for those that use languages other than delivered in Mainstream languages delivered in standard windows builds, and both performance and stability seems to be slicker. Since I don't seem to get Viruses etc on my machines I can't say if security is beefed up but it seems to be as security is always an ongoing part of any OS development.

    WSL works much better if you like playing around with that and Sandbox is gradually evolving.

    So far I'm happy but what I really would like from Windows now is an improvement to the file system -- e.g support for path and file names > 266 characters, Software RAID (especially as large HDD's -- often several TB are quite mainstream these days) and a significant improvement on HYPER-V for supporting non Windows OS/es and managing attaching external peripherals - not only HDD's.

    Most users shouldn't notice any significant changes to the GUI -- it's Windows !!!.

    I hate the blurred signon screen though -- wish that could be undone. !! and I'm not a fan at all of Dark Themes --OK if people want to use those but please don't force on everybody -- and those that do --it's often very difficult to see text in some shades of blue when combined with a dark theme.

    Cheers
