    My settings > apps crashing settings also. But I still use Programs & Features to uninstall apps, so hadn't noticed until I read here about problems others are having and checked just now.

    To everyone having those problems, here is the key to filter the rogue registered apps on the system, just remove all from there and merge back in groups of four for instance, via text reg files. There seems to be no bad consequences to doing this, and please check after each step if the apps settings do still crash.

    According to your specs, amd64 x64. AMD has the trademark on the chips. It's for Intel and AMD processors.
