Updated was fast...logged in settings / apps worked first time then rebooted and went to settings then apps and it vlcrashed but works after trying a few times...so I can confirm the app's crash is still present like stated...update was very fast though !
Ah, I only tried it on the initial boot.

Update: Yes it's still well and truly broken.

Always works on the initial boot, probably cause the initial boot it takes longer to log in...me to was excited after the initial boot but rebooted and it happened again lol

Yes Steven campoli, it appears it is not yet fixed. Intro information indicates the workaround still, so that hints to the problem persisting. One day they’ll fix that and something else will go bad!

Fastest update ever for me, 39 minutes from start to desktop. I got a new restart box showing after it had installed, a big black dialogue box in the centre of the dcreen but no action centre popup.

All went smooth and quick. No watermark or banner in settings. Don't see the updated phone app again.

I still have the stupid banner in settings. Does anyone know how to remove it? I believe there's a registry entry...

    1. Type Regedit and press Enter key
    2. Expand the sections below Computer to navigate your way to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
    3. Making sure you've selected Desktop in the left pane, next, look for PaintDesktopVersion in the right-hand pane of alphabetical entries
    4. Double-click on Desktop
    5. Type 0
    6. Press Enter
    7. Exit regedit and use 'Restart' computer. (Most times you don't need to reboot)

Prediction: Friday March 22 is sign-off to GA
    Prediction: Final build 18363

...but then again, I could be totally utterly completely (in)accurate...
