Heads up Windows Insiders – Sticky Notes v3.6 is rolling out to those of you in Skip Ahead and on Builds 18855+!

    Release Notes:
    • Add images to your Sticky Notes. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.
    • Improved speed and added icons to the context menu when selecting text.
    • Many more bug fixes and improvements.
    • Multi-desktop support is finally here. Stick your notes wherever your work takes you.
    • Select specific notes with the taskbar or with Alt + Tab and Win + Tab. But do not worry, Ctrl + Tab still is there for you to only switch between your Sticky Notes.

Hmmm, may not get it - I'm not set to get skippy builds, I'm manually applying them via .ISO.

Does anyone know how to get it to stick on top of other windows. For me I can’t see any setting to do this and it just gets hidden behind other windows

There isn't a native setting for that...

    Always On Top works.

    Hi folks

I hate this type of mess on a computer screen -- I loathed those yellow paper things people stick to their computers as well -- surely people can organise their work better than using these horrible things.

So one person who won't be installing this piece of dogs poo.

    Cheers

It's better to have an electronic sticky note on your screen than have dozens of paper ones. I always think those look messy and unorganised.

    Hi there

    What's wrong with a spreadsheet !!!!

In any case you might have different machines so the same tasks might not be required on all of them. To me still seems a bit of a sloppy way of working -- but each to their own. I really do find though usually the people who have the most of these "post-its" and similar things on their desktops are usually the most disorganised workers and often make very poor managers too.

(Similar thing in business meetings -- the quality of a presentation is usually INVERSELY proportional to the number of Flip charts used !!!!!!!).

    Cheers
