Right on both counts - x86 and a new (hour-old) upgrade to the current feature upgrade from 1809, so not the full batch of Windows updates had got through yet, just Defender and the most recent CU.
Reason - wanted to compare this upgrade with Insider Preview updates that came thick and fast recently.
Tried installing the 32 bit version of 18358 on a physical machine, and got the same results as it being installed on a HyperV VM. Trying to remove a couple Windows Features and reboot causes constant blue screens. Disabling Windows Defender via GPO has no effect either. These are two pretty huge bugs that need to be dealt with before even considering this for release.

Hi there
updated just fine using UUPDUMP (on a Virtual Machine though)
I do wish things like candy crush saga etc were only installed on demand - especially on a PRO release.
Everything working just fine for me in a VM with VMware workstation rel 15. (Linux Host) -- In the VM USB devices can be attached too.
No watermark or expiry -- language working properly, Network sharing OK, Ms Office including e-mail (outlook) OK, Photoshop etc working OK, themes from store install OK --bit convoluted method though as you can easily miss the "Install" button. SAP GUI for access to corporate SAP and VPN also no probs - although I wouldn't rely yet on this release for a proper Work computer at a clients site !!. So far though looking good for me.
On a Physical install VM's don't work properly yet - (VMware) but that's a known issue so not too bothered until that's fixed.
Note to those using VM's with VMware -- if moving the VM's to other disk locations at first boot of the Guest choose I MOVED IT rather than I COPIED IT at the prompt you will usually see at the first boot of the guest from its new location --otherwise a new GUUID is generated and you'll probably lose activation - a real pain if that happens.
Cheers
jimbo
