Tried doing Check Updates on my Laptop and it was not finding 18356 (19H1). Same problem I've had the last 3 updates. Finally did some looking around and found that I had been moved back to the slow ring again. Switched back to Fast and Check for updates found 18356 (19H1) immediately. 2nd time this has happened to me.
Same here - I was switched back to Slow ring after signing in to Insiders on my clean install of 18353. After 18356 upgrade, the Fast ring setting is holding...for now...

Any time you do a clean install, for some reason, Microsoft changes you back to the Slow Ring. No idea why, but that's the way it always happens . . . clean install, Slow Ring City!

That's what I deduced. And, thank you for the confirmation...one more piece of knowledge

    Hi folks

as always if you want the build to install manually --UUPDUMP and create iso (script does it atomatically) -- then run the setup. No need to enrol in any of the programs.

Not quite yet.....patience Grasshopper! They take the watermark off and the expiry date as part of the final roll-out prep, but it will be back, then gone again. Same musical chairs as every previous time. But...does look nice!

The problem with that for me is to remember to go in and change it back to the Fast Ring!

    Hi folks

Defect with THEMES on this build

on a VM they download and install OK
on a physical machine -- nothing works

Existing themes can be installed etc but you can't get any new ones from the store

No problem on a VM. (VM running from Centos Linux Host). Real machine HP envy laptop with INTEL graphics.

    Cheers
