I was told by a bank vice president and branch manager of Merchants & Farmers Bank in Arkansas that they're changing over to Windows 10. I haven't heard how they like it yet, but if things go the same as they did when I worked at Lyondell in Texas, there will be Windows classes to get them up to speed.
I'm pretty sure that if one bank's changing over, most of the rest of 'em will follow suit.
Mine's (former FTSE100 company, ten of thousand systems to manage) is in the process of migrating along the hardware refresh - which makes sense.
I got my Surface Laptop with Windows 10 1709 on it early Jan and so far can't complain too much - except that I did manage to crash it 3 times ;-)
I am a bit conservative on many fronts. I need changes when only it is worth it and needed. With that in mind, I am wondering why MS keeps on changing its terminology. Before LTSC used to be LTSB and now we have to deal with SAC, SAC-T and so on... It has become very difficult to follow. We have so many other things to deal with when it comes to our daily tasks on a computer.
Check out how long and understandable this article is:
What is Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) for Windows 10
Not for much longer, apparently it's all going to change (again)....
