Hello. Is anyone else getting flicker in Chrome since this update? I can't tell whether it was this update or the update to Chrome 73, did both around the same time. The flicker for me is not bad but streaming video is almost unwatchable. Thought the LCD was going bad then realized it was only doing it in Chrome. Turning off "use hardware acceleration" in Chrome's settings fixes the issue but it still is there. It would be interesting to know what prompted Chrome's hardware acceleration to stop working with mine.

You should download portable version, older offline setup or find the Chrome location (Chrome used to keep a copy or previous version files before and after update).

You most likely have too old GPU and you have to test different Chrome versions to find the range when video playback worked or stopped working and report it as a bug to Google or you are using new optional unstable AMD game ready drivers that have it written in known issues that YouTube playback has issues.

Hello. It seems Google is not letting users revert to previous versions. They will install it and it just won't open. I am using Nvidia drivers but again it is not happening outside of the Chrome environment and the desktop is running off Intel.

With hardware acceleration off, that occasional flicker I mentioned that was still happening I can reproduce in Chrome by just right clicking my desktop and choosing "next desktop background." It is related to the Windows wallpaper slideshow. If I turn that off it stops completely. I will report the issue. I see there are some others having the same.

Oh wow so it was the auto-color switch doing it. Weird.
Thanks for the link! Take care.

When I install this update my wifi stopped working. When I UNINSTALL this update my wifi starts working again. That was using my TP-Link AC600 wifi adapter.

So I disconnected the AC600 and plugged in an AC1200. At first, it worked fine, then it stopped working. So I uninstalled the update again and it started working.

So I disconnected the AC1200 and tried it with the onboard wifi card. Same as above.

PROBLEM: Wifi disconnects (and won't connect) after installing this update.
