To be fair there hasn't been a ninja cat or taco hat reference since the 1809 fiasco. It has become marginally more professional.

Won't argue with that, but when you close 1 ring of a 3 ring circus, you still have a circus. JMHO

FWIW, I applied the temp workaround code fix to my VMWare VM and used an ISO to successfully update it. Probably not too many following this issue, expect maybe Jimbo.

    Done here, 35 minutes...

Downloading had some hiccup but a second try did the trick.

My Sandboxie has been working OK with several builds but this one broke it.

Just update my 2 VMware Workstation 15 with this method and all went just fine.

Wrong. I am following this issue closely and have communicated with @jimbo45 about it. But the problem does not affect me on my Windows 18850 installation on a nv SDD (Windows 300GB folder copied from Linux) or Installing fresh from a 18850 ISO. Did not even know VMware provided a "fix" and will post that to the VMware WS forum.

    Hi folks
on this build (New install) is there any way to get net 3.5 to install. No problem on update install but I can't install via programs and features or even the stand alone install -- Running W10 Pro X-64. Still have a couple of applications that need net3.5.

    Cheers

Marty, was not implying you were not following. I did not know who was, except Jimbo. Can't possibly know everyone who is following everything. No offense intended, and my post is not "wrong", just an omission of you explicitly.

Some WinX items still don't work,

Still can't remove Properties from files...,

    Hi there
Audio is working fine when this build is run as a VM - I'm running from a Linux Host so the Virtual sound card obviously uses the host hardware. I also tested a really cheapo USB-->sound out thing attached to the VM itself --that also worked OK. (The USB sound adapter worked on the Host as well -- don't expect super dooper Hi fidelity sound from those devices though).

    Cheers
