    I have them all so far, knock on wood...they disappear sometimes after a few hours lol

    MS must be flipping coins. IMHO MS should give the popup and the banner to all Insiders but with the option to turn them off if one chooses. That way they can get a idea if user want it or not.

    Another build -- another exercise in frustration!

    Built ISO from UUPdownloader. Tried install 3 times (because other folks here said it took them three times to finally get the update to work). Failed all three times -- same pattern:
    Mount ISO, run setup.exe, hangs on Making Sure you are Ready ... for 35 minutes, starts Installation, finally finishes that, screen clears -- remains black for 15 minutes, no messages on screen, no gray background with circling dots. PC finally reboots back to Win10 desktop with small popup window saying Windows 10 Installation has failed.

    No error messages of any kind.

    Tried Windows Update (on last build) got essentially the same sequence and the same failure.

    Any logs I can check to get some details?

    Are you doing this in a VMWare VM? There is a known problem, as stated in the release notes, and a valid workaround that has been posted. If this is true, please post back and I'll point you to the fix (workaround).

    I've been using this release for the last 24 hours and apart from a couple of minor driver problems I'm struggling to find fault with it. Seems a lot faster and snappier than version 1809.
    The driver problems were easy to sort out, NVIDIA and Corsair, Just uninstalled them both completely and reinstalled and they are both working fine apart from a minor control panel niggle with the NVIDIA. They are bringing a new version out over the next few weeks which should fix this however.

    The Hamburger pop up menu in start doesn't work again so it's in offstate mode I'm guessing

    No, sorry, I am not doing this in a VM.

    VMWare on Build 18351.1

    Wrong tweak,wrong place. Won't boot in UEFI or SCSI, BIOS/SATA/USB 1.1/1920x1080/4096RAM/ works with an SSD.

    Minimum requirements in:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\vixwrapper-product-config.txt

    Code:
    cpuid.brandstring = "VMware Fix for Windows 10 Build 18346 x64"
    cpuid.1.ecx = "0--------------0----------------"
    cpuid.1.edx = "-----------0---------0----------"
    monitor_control.enable_fullcpuid = "TRUE"
    Special thank's to @f14tomcat

    My system won't update to 18351. Several attempts in WU, and resetting WU didn't fix.
    Sfc claimed it fixed some errors, but WU failed again afterwards. Error message was PAGE_FAULT_IN_UNPAGED_AREA.
    Downloaded and created ISO from UUPDump, mounted the ISO and ran setup.
    That failed also. I was away from my machine when it failed, so didn't see the error message.
    I had a week old NVidia driver for my video card (a GeForce GTX 750 Ti.) NVidia had released a newer driver. I downloaded and installed that (Graphics driver only, as I'm not a gamer.)
    Ram WU again, attempt #7, crashed with error (on the gsod screen) SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. no underscores were shown.
    After rebooting and restoring to build 18348 a window popped up with this error message:—
    "We couldn't install Windows 10
    We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10
    K1900101 - 0x30018
    The installation failed in the FIRST BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation"

    I ran Windows Update Troubleshooter just now, so will give WU another try tomorrow. I'll post again with the result.

    I'm having lmod's problem with 18351. For me no VMware involved, no ISO -- just a vanilla Windows update that eventually produces a green screen announcing "page fault in nonpaged area" and on reboot the system reverts to previous version. After three tries with identical results I'm giving up, but I'll keep looking here for ideas.
