It's still there. Try a restart.
Strange, showed up after the third restart.

Perhaps they are doing A/B testing on it.

It's been like that for me for several builds now.

Well after being on the RP Ring for around a year I was feeling bored and switched to Fast Ring, a reboot and checked for updates and it started coming down straight away. It took 46 minutes which I thought was good. Three minutes of that time was taken with it hanging around when I logged on with the welcome screen showing.
It seems to be working fine now.

    Hi there
Nice to see Ms is investigating the problem of VMWare not installing or working properly on these insider builds
So I won't bother with this one - but hopefully it looks as if the VMWare issue is going to be fixed soon -- maybe next release.

quote from Known issues : (From post nr 1 - Brink - in this thread)

    Known issues

Launching games that use anti-cheat software may trigger a bugcheck (GSOD).
Creative X-Fi sound cards are not functioning properly. We are partnering with Creative to resolve this issue.
While this flight contains some night light improvements, we’re continuing to investigate reported issues in this space.
Some Realtek SD card readers are not functioning properly. We are investigating the issue.
We’re investigating reports of the Chinese version of multiple games not working.
We’re investigating an issue where region settings are being reset on upgrade for some Insiders.
We’re investigating an issue preventing VMware from being able to install or update Windows Insider Preview builds. Hyper-V is a viable alternative if available to you.

    Cheers

Still no fix for crash when launching BattlEye-enabled games?

I'm sure MS wouldn't risk pushing a version that breaks some of the most popular games around (Fortnite, for example, uses BattlEye)
    I wouldn't bet on it.
