I understood you were on RP, sorry for the fuss
No problem. I made the mistake of joining 1809 to Insider without restricting it to RP and got updated to the current IP. I restored via MR and unjoined Insiders. I decided to leave it status quo.

I just saved another 1.5GB of storage space by running the following commands in sequence using Elevated CMD:

    Code:
    net stop wuauserv
    net stop bits
    del /q %SYSTEMROOT%\SoftwareDistribution\*
    for /d %x in (%SYSTEMROOT%\SoftwareDistribution\*) do @rd /s /q "%x"
    net start wuauserv
    net start bits

That cleared the Windows update history completely.

I have had to uninstall this update as it broke ESET Smart Security (v10.1.219.0). Did anyone else have this problem. I couldn't even produce logs from ESET so I have no way of diagnosing the problem but it has resolved since uninstalling the update.
I'm not too well versed on AVs, but I have Eset Nod32:

So far, everything seems to work here. I'm assuming Smart Security is different than Nod32?

Yes, it also has a firewall, which I am wondering if it could have caused some problems because I have a lot of custom rules set up. I am running a slightly older version of ESET Smart Security (v10.1.219.0) so I might try updating it and then running the cumulative update again.

You will not get this update automatically, it is an optional update ('C'/'D' release) and will only be delivered if you click 'Check for updates'. 17763.316 was a 'Patch Tuesday' 'B' release which is always delivered automatically.

Most users are familiar with what is commonly referred to as “Patch Tuesday” or Update Tuesday. These updates are published on the second Tuesday of each month, known as the “B” release (“B” refers to the second week in the month), and are the only regular monthly releases that include both new security fixes and previously released security and non-security fixes....

...We also release optional updates in the third and fourth weeks of the month, respectively known as “C” and “D” releases. These are preview releases. ... These updates have only non-security fixes. ... Advanced users can access the “C” and “D” releases by navigating to Settings> Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking the “Check for updates” box.

Follow the link in post #1...
For more information, see our blog post, "Mitigating Spectre variant 2 with Retpoline on Windows".
    ...to find this:

    Microsoft said:
To check if retpoline and import optimizations are enabled, you can use the PowerShell cmdlet Get-SpeculationControlSettings. You can also use NtQuerySystemInformation to programmatically query retpoline status.

    OK Bree, Get-SpeculationControlSettings reports:
    BTIKernelRetpolineEnabled : False

Now what... and don't give me the "Enables “Retpoline" for Windows on certain devices"
Apparently I don't have one of the "certain devices"... boy this thing is getting harder to follow, every day!
