So people are against this build being released because it has a new emoji? Even though this build has a bunch of fixes as well?
Can't tell you if people are against this build, can only tell what I personally think.

Insider program was started to give PC experts and IT pros a preview of the new features in Windows 10. A few new emojis is in my opinion not a preview of a new feature.

Also, please keep on your mind that when a fellow member tells his / her opinion about a new build, like me now, you cannot generalize, you cannot say it means "people are against this build". In this case for instance, it only means that I as an individual single member of Ten Forums was wondering how far Insider program has come from its origins.

Quote from post by Terry Myerson (then Executive Vice President, Windows and Devices Group at Microsoft) on September 30th, 2014, announcing the start of Windows Insider program:

The Windows Insider Program is intended for PC experts and IT pros who are comfortable using pre-release software with variable quality. Insiders will receive a steady stream of early builds from us with the latest features we’re experimenting with.

Can anyone not using this in a VM check to see if the monitors are listed in the color calibration application? Similarly, if gamma and/or other color corrections are able to be made via Nvidia CPL or other third party apps. I do see a comment pertaining to the latter being addressed. I reverted to Slow as the last fast build blew away my .icc profile ability and the high gamma was an issue. Thanks!

    Yup, this is important.

(BTW the emoji's are super horrible.. even the The Unicode Blog: Unicode Emoji 12.0 final for 2019 are nicer (just looking at the ice-cube one)

So far no problems with this build, but it still has the header section in settings. I am running this build on hardware, not a virtual machine.

Well, that was quick...slam, bam, thank you ma'am for 18346, eh? '48 installed, no problems thus far--perhaps we'll have until Monday to use/test it--woopee. It's always been apparent to me that the "fixed bugs" list for each build release is greatly abbreviated--every single bug I've reported has *eventually* been fixed, though it might take 3-6 fast-ring builds to see it--but none of the fixes has ever made the official "fixed" list. I have no idea what criteria Microsoft uses to compile the "fixed" list. So, I'm all in with bug fixes.

Really wish Microsoft would pare down to but one official release per year, instead of four. Because it's like we are getting into constantly reinventing the wheel, if you know what I mean. emoji's--that wheel seems constantly under reinvention at Microsoft these days for no good reason that I can see. I like emoji's in some contexts--like, when you want to make a point that sounds stern and/or gruff--but that isn't quite what you intend--a little "smiley" serves to soften it, etc. But these contortions Microsoft is coming up with seem designed for sadists--or masochists! I think we can let the emoj thing go now, Microsoft!

^^^^There are only two official releases of Windows 10 a year, not four.

Man, that BattlEye bug has been there for months now. At this point I'm just hoping they have it fixed by the final build so I'm not stuck on 1809.
