I had three goes at this on the Slow Ring and each time it seemed to go fine untill the restart which looked like it went at a really fast speed then went to login and desktop appeared ok but there are three entries in update history which just show this.

DooGie, I've seen something similar on here before. In the restart options from the Start Button on Task Bar, is there an option for Update and Restart? If so, try that. Just a s.w.a.g.

That option was there TC but no dice, I've tried five times tonight and it's failed five times. I'll give up on this one
