If the next Feature Update is tentatively, and I use that word with caution, scheduled for March..... I have not seen any RP Ring news, but they have already started on the next one (this thread). I like that they are constantly moving along but it seems a bit much to not get one in the RP before skipping ahead to another one.

    @Kari

I have similar reasons for using multiple browsers. Not as advanced as you, but still lets me separate a lot of things this way.

    Yes.

I have heard that you can have an add-on in Firefox that lets you sign in to several for instance MS accounts in different tabs, but again in my case that is not a solution because in my opinion, Firefox loses in so many ways in comparison to Edge.

MS needs more headroom for 20H1, thus they skipped also 19H2...in case you didn't notice.

LOL I didn't notice that, last I read/heard it would be 19H1 for March

EDIT, I get what you meant by skipped now.

Hehheh, I think we should calm down.
I am very calm. Everything I have posted and will post is polite, calm and factual

I can confirm that both FF and Chrome use more resources than Edge. Which one is the best...well they are all good.
Yes. The difference becomes bigger with more tabs opened. With 50 tabs open, Edge only uses about a third of RAM Chrome needs to show same tabs. Also the number of running processes is smaller.

I doubt it will come out that early. Maybe late April early May.

They did not skip 1909 / 19H2, they just made it clear that in some time near future, Fast Ring will be previews of 19H2, while Skippy will be previews for 20H1. They kind of added six months preview time for those in Skippy. Usually, Skippy users have had about 8 months to test the build following next release, no we got first Skippy preview build of 20H1 about 14 months before its release.

Fast Ring will remain in the "old" schedule, 7 to 8 months before the release.

    Hi there
forgetting these browser wars for an instant -- has anybody read of Brink's new post on updates to the WSL feature -- looks Good to me.

    On the Browser issue :

Personally if all you need a computer for is to trawl the Internet - who cares whether it's windows or an android tablet etc etc. Internet browsing of course is important but is that the main reason to chose one OS over another -- I actually use my machines for business like things.

One ongoing project is a bit of volcanology in Iceland -- I'm sure all those in Europe whose planes were delayed / cancelled when Eyjafjallajökull erupted would be far more interested in getting decent observations of when the next possible disruption would occur rather than worrying about relative merits of Edge vs IE 11.

    Cheers

Again, happy to educate you. Please read this carefully and think of it: Edge is a UWP app, other browsers Win32 apps...Kari
Although I was plenty calm in my earlier posts, but when reading I guess it's easy to infer in any tone, I will try to put this as calmly and plainly as I can. Lol. First, do you stay in denial much? You educating me is a joke. You still have not answered the longing question. Why do you have to use those other browsers? I’ve asked it several times. Why doesn’t your precious Edge work for Azure AD, I mean it is M$’s product, right? Why must you resort to the other browsers?
The answer, since you are painfully resisting the obvious, is because Edge isn’t supported. Period. Just another case where Edge just doesn’t work! And M$ accounts are NOT connected to browsers, they are connected to email addresses. On other browsers, you can get extensions to use different accounts in different tabs. So your answer is STILL extremely weak, at best.
Cari, for the record, you couldn’t provoke me if you tried. I don't take you that seriously. Your roundabout answer just proves my point. You use those browsers because they work better. Just admit it. I know you love to argue, just like you tried to start an argument with Wynonna and another poster just for giving me an iso of the previous build. Maybe you are lonely? I don’t know. But pushing arguments isn’t the way to fill the day in my opinion. And I find your reasoning flimsy and inaccurate. You can easily switch logins in a single browser, IF you were as knowledgeable as you proclaim. Your argument just doesn’t hold water. It’s deflecting at best, and for a person who claims to be so resourceful, it doesn't ring true either.
