@Kari that Manage Edge Favorites application is very useful. Only issue I have with it is that I haven't found a way to rearrange things in bulk using multi selection. And it's a bit slow. Other than that, it's brilliant.
I have no issues in selecting multiple items and dragging them to another place?

Hmmm...maybe I need to take another look at it then.

Select multiple items, click name of any selected item, drag. Notice that dragged items will be dropped in new place in reversed order. For instance if you want to move favourites Site AAA, Site BBB and Site CCC, and select them in order AAA, BBB, CCC, and then drop them to new place, they will be listed in order CCC, BBB, AAA.

In other words, to keep the orderof moved favourites as you'd prefer, select items to be dragged in reverse order.

I think I'll crack the source code open and make the tool work as it's supposed to. While at it, I'll make it faster to work with too. ;-)

Lol, the Edge Favorites Syncing feature is horrible. I got the stuff cleaned up on my main machine. Favorites got synced pretty good to my other computer. On the other hand Edge on Android only got one subfolder with 1073 bookmarks, then it stopped. Where are the rest of my bookmarks (missing like 5000)

Now I remember what my issue was. While one can select multiple items using the tickboxes, one can not make selections by creating a square around the items to select them. This makes it very cumbersome to move stuff around. I have to click thousands of times.

    Just to end this conversation:

I am a very happy Edge user. Partly, my satisfaction comes from the fact that I do not need nor use any extensions except two native Microsoft ones. I have never felt I need extensions like ad-blockers, wanting to support many people I know whose living depends on Internet adverts shown like for instance those shown to guest users here on TenForums, nor do I need any "password safes" or "YouTube downloaders" or any other type of add-ons / extensions.

My only two extensions in Edge, in other browsers I do not have nor have I ever used any other extensions:

Second, I have had absolutely no issues in syncing Edge favourites. None whatsoever. Doing a count now, I have 1.4K favourites perfectly synced accross my devices. No duplicates, no issues.

Those favourites I have in Edge, I'll manage with Emmet Brown's excellent application Manage Edge Favorites

Not wanting to sound childish or naive, I must say I love Edge. In my opinion it is the best browser I have used, and one of the for me most valuable features in Windows 10.

I've now used Edge as my default, main browser over four and a half years. I am a profoundly happy Edge user, having several times tested and seen how much less resources it uses than for instance Chrome, Firefox or Opera, always being positively surprised to see how fast and reliable it is.

As they say, your mileage may vary. I have no authority to order you to use a certain browser, nor have I right to tell you are wrong. I am just telling my sincere, personal and subjective opinion.

Last but not least: maybe the fact that I have given Edge a chance, having used it as my main browser over four years now, maybe that affects my opinion. I have not only tested it for 20 minutes, then posted about how bad it is and forgotten it, never to test it again. I really have given Edge the chance to impress me, and that it has done with flying colours.

    @Kari

I've used Edge for about 2 years and way over 1 year as my default browser.

This bookmarks issue is the only thing I have a huge problem with along with more minimal issues like no WebGL support and a barely functional WebAssembly support.

EDIT: I was wrong! WebAssembly seems to work fine now and they have even added WebGL support now. That is very cool.
