All done and dusted. Strange there were no reboots after the initial one I clicked on. Nothing at 30% and 75% as usual.
I had that on 18334 too,

Sadly creative sound-card issue is not fixed, still only recognises SPDIF output

Had both. Then 79% back to 64% and finally all the way up. I can tell cause all the lights on my case blink off/on! There a couple of quick blank screens early on when it's loading GPU drivers, also.

There may never be a fix for Internet Explorer. Unless of course you are a big backward company willing to pay Redmond big bucks.

I doubt MS is going to fix anything related to Internet Explorer unless it affects Windows 10 itself.

We'll probably get a release in the not too distant future where Internet Explorer has gone totally. Not before tiime imo.

Has anyone thought through the timelines of all this starting with the 20H1 release?

-SA 20H1 testing: over the next six months or so (Feb '19-Sep '19), maybe longer?
    -Fast 20H1 testing: Fall '19-Spring '20?

It would seem that major releases will be tested twice, by two different sets of people, in radically different time periods (there may be no testing overlap at all, or very little at most).

Good, I guess, since it widens the testing window dramatically, allowing more problems to be caught. I think. But I don't think it's going to leave a whole lot for Fast to do once SA is done with a release, right? For Fast users, it would seemingly be purely bug-catching and catching up on a giant number of features given to them all at once.

There shouldn't be any new features introduced once Fast has it, at least if MS knows what's good for them. This would seemingly eliminate any possibility of the twin fiascoes last year.

It'll rise from the ashes as a Store App.
