    @Kari I have the exact same problem with Edge as @magilla has. I have always had this issue and deleting all favorites from all my devices and starting from scratch does not solve this. Does not take long before they are cluttered again. Yes, I have created a local account exactly as you described and then connected that to my MS account and finally made sure sync is working.

    There's something horribly wrong with Edge Bookmark manager. I've got hundreds, if not thousands of bookmarks and it takes me days to manually reorganize them and delete the duplicates.

    The correct word here is Disaster

    Update: Heres a screenshot of latest bookmaks

    I have already cleaned up most of it

    Hi there

    @slicenfice

    Switch to Firefox

    menus available, built in pdf reader, bookmark manager sensible, highly customiseable, language choice, imports bookmarks from IE etc.

    I hate Edge but FF seems perfectly acceptable if you use a lot of bookmarks, like menus and want automatic translation of websites and a whole slew of other things. One niggle when installed Language is US English but just switch languages.

    Edge is totally opposite of what I like in browsers.

    In what way is Edge a disaster? How much have you tested, used it? Tried a day or two, then given up?

    Edge is without a doubt the best browser I have ever used, having been used it uniterrupted as my main browser since October 2014. I only use other browsers to keep myself continously signed in to multiple Azure AD and MS accounts, Edge always being signed in to the primary accounts.

    One problem I have is that Edge will not work on some of the sites I use to do online bill paying. I also have experienced the problem magilla posted.

    Thanks but no thanks. FF isn't working for me at all. I use Chrome when I use bookmarks. In all other cases I use Edge, because it simply just works for me on all devices, except for the bookmarks sync.

    Hi there
    Each to their own -- personally I HATE any application that doesn't have a decent set of menus --with a couple of very large monitors I don't want my computers to behave just like glorified mobile phones with large screens.

    @CountMike you might like this feature too in FF.

    I really do like the FF feature though of being able to translate websites automatically (you can disable it too if you want)

    For instance from German Rail site (Deutsche Bahn) -- translation is fine -- I understand German too so just a test. (German Rail pass 10% reduction)

    Hi there
    @CountMike

    Bad news again on VMWare front

    VM's hang when you try and connect usb drives - whether usb2 or usb 3 - even if you ensure VM is set fror running in version 15.X of VMWare. Doesn't matter if it's a Windows or Linux VM running from this build as HOST.

    Although you can get back into windows you can't close the VM without a re-boot. (not quite true actually -- you can kill it with Task manager via ctrl-alt-del and then go into task manager that way but it's probably safer to re-boot anyway).

    Same problem also if you run on a Linux Host and have this build on a VM. With Linux though you can by using the PID get rid of the VM but it's safer to re-boot anyway.

    so again I'm afraid this build is still a NO NO.

    C'mon Ms and VMWare -- we've had this problem now for at least the last 4 or 5 builds !!!!!!! Forget about making more themes etc -- get USEFUL stuff working PLEEEEEEEEEASE.

    Of lesser importance IE11 hangs randomly - especially if you right mouse click on settings and change a few things like add status bar etc.

    Cheers

    Couldn't ever uninstall VMware because of one of them.
