Is Microsoft really expending treasure and effort to provide "quality improvements" for an abandoned mobile o/s, or are these updates little more than placebos?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same package been offered month after month - adjusted only to reflect a higher version number

I really miss my Windows phone. I wish MS would reconsider getting back into the mobile phone market.

Always appreciate this notice, Brink, even as W10 Mobile heads for oblivion in December. Maintaining two 950s till the bitter end …

Heads up: for one month now running Pixel 3 with 'Launcher 10' as my daily driver . No kidding, people, it's more versatile than W10 Mobile, with Home shortcuts and widgets that emulate Live Tiles brilliantly. Setting it all up right is work, yet so was W10M. Check it out!

    all running super smooth here..
    keyboard and mouse performing well
running thru a monitor using the hub gizmo..
connectivity and synch are great on the 950XL, specially if you're an MS Office user..
    - nice one!

I've never regretted owning the 950XL - slim and light to work with..
it has really great sound thru headphones or external speakers and an ace camera, as well..
not a bad little machine at all..
