Works on my Surface Book 2 now! (Notification Center)
I mean these settings in the "NVIDIA control panel".
Moving the sliders had no visible effect in the last builds.

I'm seeing the issue with being unable to delete or move .mkv files as well. They are being locked by explorer.exe.
They're not files but in a MKV container. Similar to CD containers, How -To-Geek

I think we can agree that they're FILES.

So far, things are looking much better. I shut down and rebooted without issue. No GSOD!!! Then later, I downloaded a PDF and since I refuse to let Edge read them, I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader. Had to restart, so I had a few scary moments, but she booted right back up into Build 18334!

With Build 18305, I couldn't get new themes to work. I downloaded, installed and tried to apply, but nothing I did worked. So, I decided to try that again . . . and what to my wondering eyes did appear? Nope, no tiny reindeer, but when I opened Personalization, there were the themes I had tried to get, but that would never show up, in 18305!

And now, my grinch! Throughout my problems with the GSODs that started with Build 18323, my only solution was to roll back to 18305. That would be fine, except when I tried to get back to Skip Ahead, it will no longer work! I'm now back on the Fast Ring! Bummer . . . I'm going to file Feedback on that, but I don't expect to be reinstated. <Whine>

So, if my luck holds, I'll be one happy camper.

Those 3 sliders have no effect on my system, but the Hue and Vibrance sliders under "3." do change the display.

It would be maybe nice, if they could FINALLY FIX Nvidia Optimus / MS Hybrid in laptops?? The dGPU is still randomly polled for 100ms all the time over Windows (causing fan spins), in certain context menus or things like fast slider movements on GUIs or opening Task Manager, closing it, opening Edge, opening the Nvidia panel, and lots more...

You can do it from the command line, though you may need to restart the shell first to clear the hang.

This fixed the brightness slider, but broke night light again.

Edit: nevermind. A restart fixed it.

Thanks. Been doing that or using an app called Lockhunter to either clear the lock or set files to delete on next boot. Just an annoyance.
