    But this is not just an UWP app issue,
    I refer to the problem that the app doesn't remember the previous size, this doesn't happen with Chrome, for example, only happens with UWP apps.

    @jimbo45

    What do you mean?

    Screenshot taken from my mobile phone (a bit crowded with 9 windows because of only FHD display):

    Hi there
    @slicendice
    If you can see 9 concurrent screens on a 5 inch mobile phone you must have better eyes than a starving Velociraptor !!!!!

    Anyway thanks for reply -- with all these things it's YMMV and people have their own personal preferences of doing things.

    BTW I like your idea of having a go with that Raspberry idea !!!! -- you shouldn't be encouraging me to waste even more time than I've been doing recently -- still a bit of "Schoolboy Fun" left in me though !!
    -- I've got enough ways to waste more time already !!!!!! --At least I can escape going out shopping !!!!!

    Cheers

    If I need 12 windows across 3 screens I use shortcut keys for that to place them where I want them to be.
    How do you tile multiple windows as you describe ?

    Not that there is any real point in doing that except for it can be fun or extremely frustrating. It's just a proof of concept. I'll try it out, once I find a good SD-card or some USB storage to boot from.

    I use the WIN+any arrow key. Try with one window and see what happens. It's a powerful way of organizing your screen.

    EDIT: If you need further assistance, let me know and I'll do some instructions for you.

    Thank you slicendice but if I do that I only seem to be able to tile 4 at the most (one in each corner)?

    Yes, that's the annoying part. I wish one could split them into even smaller windows. Would be useful on a 4k screen.

    @robgr

    You can also stack, cascade and tile visible (non minimized) windows by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting one of the options there. But in my opinion it currently does not quite work as it should.

    EDIT: this feature used to work correctly in Windows 8 and 7.
