Kari, tell that to the millions of people who upgraded for free because Microsoft allowed it. It's not what they said, it's what they did that matters.
In our local transport here in Leipzig, you can step in to trams, buses and trains without showing a ticket. In this metropolitan region of over 1 million inhabitants, transport authority have less than 200 controlles who work as pairs and travel around the region in random routes controlling that people have valid tickets. You get an 80 fine if found travelling without a valid ticket (normal price for up to 4 stops is 1.80, for unlimited stops within one hour 2.80).

A few years back, local tranport authority had a campaign, all local transport was free for a weekend, all Saturday and Sunday. Had it been a valid excuse to avoid the fine if you were caught travelling without a valid ticket on Monday, a day after the campaign ended, if you told that "I thought it was OK because it was possible"?

Don't know anything else about it but the picture that question. I never heard a disk being described as Foreign.
Post a pic of the Optimize and Defrag options. The Reserved Storage uses a Dynamic Volume, like a VM would, VHD or VHDX, not sure which. That may be the source for the "Foreign".

Do you have the Reserved Storage activated? That "Dynamic" may indicate it. Although not sure why the warning triangle.

No, the reserved storage is shown as a normal, attached VHD, as a Basic disk labelled as PortableBaseLayer.

Yes, so does mine. The warning indicates something is not quite right. And since VHDs are generally dynamic (can be fixed), I was just wendering at the cause. Hence, the request for a pic of Optimize and Defrag.

Not sure, but theoretically it could be possible that the reserved storage VHD of OS 1 could be shown as "Foreign" when booted to OS 2 on a dual / multi boot device. It could also explain the warning (exclamation point) shown.

Y'all are in the wrong thread. You need to be in the Build 18334/1901 thread; this is the 1809 thread.
    It is?

That got me confused, too. I mean, this is the tread about 18334. Where else should I post about my issues in 18334?

Deleting folders containing .mkv files in 18334

Concerning the issue with .mkv files , not being able to delete or move either the file or any folder containing them.,

Following instructions using CMD or Powershell I can delete any folder BUT not one that contains an .mkv

I can not rename the folder, cut it or move it either

Probably have to wait for MS to fix
