@Wynona. Download version 1.2.0 of UUPDump Downloader from here Tags · UUP dump / downloader · GitLab

Create a new directory to put it in then start it up, there's a search box at the top so just type in 18239. You get a choice between 64-bit and 32-bit so just highlight the one you want and then click on choose selected build at the bottom of the window. You then get the option to choose language and either pro or Home. Also select where you want the download to be saved to then click on Start Process. All the files will be downloaded and compiled into an iso file. It takes quite a while though, usually around 20 minutes for me.
Hope this is of some help.

@Wynona Download the 7 zip version not the exe as Defender doesn't like it. You may also have trouble getting to the site as some AVs don't like it. It is perfectly safe so you can ignore the warnings.

When I check my desktop this morning it was stuck at 2% after starting over 4 hours earlier. The strange thing is that I had Windows Insider turned off in settings because I had the slow programs starting problem. I deleted all the folders/files in C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Downloads and used a ISO made with UUPDownloader. It took 49 minutes to update. That doesn't include making the ISO. For some reason updating my new desktop is taking longer to install. My old desktop was even worse. I'm thinking it has to be a program that is running in the background.
Thanks, I had to reboot to get the Update completed, this update was slower than previous updates, anyway thanks for your suggestion.

Defender doesn't like the 7 zip version, either.

Never had any issue with the 7 zip version and Defender but I don't leave it lying around for Defender or MB to scan.

The .exe works fine for me now they've stopped using auto hot key in it. NOD32 doesn't complain one bit whereas before it used to block the download of the .exe.

While downloading using Chrome, Windows Defender kicked in with 'Failed - virus detected'. WD reports "Remediation Incomplete". That's a new one on me. Let's try with FF... yes, the exe trips WD, but the 7zip version gets through. What a world! Who do we trust?

Edit: I double-clicked on the 7zip file and IE11 came up! Shortly thereafter, there was a WD warning, and the file went away - whoosh! Too much trouble.

I'm pretty sure they're the same, Andre. Until Fast and Skippy are forked, they'll continue to be the same. Just the delivery will be different.
