Has anyone had this problem... update downloads, installs, but upon restarting for the first time it hangs for @5 minutes, then I get .. "Windows is undoing any changes made to your computer", then reboots to 18323.
I've gone through the process 3 times but to no avail. Any ideas anyone?
Yep--something in your present build (possibly a device driver--GPU driver, etc.) is throwing up a roadblock to the build install, and so the system automatically reverts you back to the previous build. I've seen it a few times myself over the years. No point in repeating the process as the outcome will not change--unless you can figure out what is obstructing the upgrade and fix it while you are running 18323. Barring that, just wait for the next build.

On the upside, no more of the weird pink coloration here apparently caused by whatever fix they put into 18323 (it would happen when Night Light activated and wasn't cleared until reboot).
Agreed, I'd seen the pink coloration anytime I was scrolling in Chrome. Further my Dell Inspiron 7359 display appeared to be very gray. All well with this build.

    Installed over WU.
After restart, a message appeared saying that had some problems and couldn't install this version and reboots in 18323.
Launched again WU and after downloading again this build, the instalation was very smooth.
After restart I had a big surprise: in this build (since was introduced for the first time), the SandBox is working for me!
    Wowww!
Didn't get GSOD, didn't get errors, it simply works.
All apps are opening quickly and so far, didn't find problems except for those described in op.

You got lucky, Slice! I never got rid of the GSODs; they just kept coming . . . even when I tried a reset and after that, a clean install of 18323 so I could get 18329. I don't know what to do next, but it's not gonna be easy, I'm sure.
I must have a lot of luck today since Skip Ahead upgraded on first try. It was however an ancient build (1829x something).

    Take care!
If you win too much you'll look for new ways to make you angry, and you'll leave the single one that you have now: Windows Insider way.

I don't know if it's connected but seems that light pink instead of light gray was caused in my case with GOU driver and setting for "Virtual Super Resolution".

I left him a PM early this morning, but I'm guessing he's at work, so I may have to wait until this evening. I'm hoping that will work, but until I try it, I won't know.
So sorry for your trouble @Wynona. I did not make an iso this time; otherwise I would offer to you.

    @Wynona

Have you tried clean installing build 18290 and then upgrading that? I think the issue is in the latest builds, because I think I upgraded Skip Ahead from 18290 or something very close to it, without any issues.

Here's a direct link to the WIP ISO download page:

Installed 18329.1 last night with no bumps and about a 1/2 hour quicker than the last build. MB 3.7B is working fine but it was a little hard to uninstall 3.6 in order to upgrade to the Beta. Some programs and working quickly and some slowly...not sure why. The system information is still on screen. ISO was made.
