Just in time! Was getting some serious GSoD system crashes in 18323 this p.m.--windows stop-code crashes--listing the Cache Manager error for the Windows.com stopcode pages . Windows event log put it off to problems in the RPC network end of things--and I followed every lead in the log and could find nothing obvious--had me chasing my tail all around IKE...

If I'd direct Defender to do a custom AV scan of just drive c:\, then when scanning, after anywhere from 242k files to ~320k files had been scanned (it varied with each attempt) the entire desktop would hard lock--I'd get the green screen with that explanation. I'd decided it was a software problem relative to the 18323 build and was just about to revert to 18317 when I saw we had another build in the hopper!

Off line scan completed with no problems. But am downloading the new build right now!

--Hope I don't see this again--because I have to admit that it has been several builds since I've done a custom AV scan of C:\! At first I was worried that it might be some hardware failing--but don't think so. Nothing else is causing problems--just the AV scan of that one drive--my NVMe boot drive, wouldn't ya; know.

    Anyone see anything similar lately?

OH--almost forgot--18323 watermark, bottom right corner, is very evident here!...

Just for your info, I still have this on bottom of my screen with 18329.1
(tried to insert image but not allowed for some reason)

It's on the bottom of Little Lenovo that just finished with 18329 Fast installation, Magilla. Go figure!

And now we wait to see what turns up on my desktop. Right now, I'm not sure of anything.

Wynona, after restarting, present on all my computers—at first not present on desktops but then when restarted appeared on them too.

If anyone is interested...Samsung has updated its NVMe 960/970 driver from 2.3 to 3.1--just snagged it, myself. It's dated about a week ago, so it's brand-spanking new. After I install the new build I'll take it for a spin...!

Very odd that some have it and some don't. I don't, though perhaps I will after I reboot ...
That is quite normal that the watermark is not shown directly after the upgrade. I've often seen it appear only after a few restarts.

In my opinion, there's nothing worth speculating here. This is most definitely not the "final 1903" release (not even a candidate), the build Insiders get week or two before it will be officially released which will naturally have no watermark.

Rest assured, the watermark will appear, sooner or later.

Yes, Kari, now I remember that the watermark usually appears after restart and - as you say maybe after several restarts.
