Just in time! Was getting some serious GSoD system crashes in 18323 this p.m.--windows stop-code crashes--listing the Cache Manager error for the Windows.com stopcode pages . Windows event log put it off to problems in the RPC network end of things--and I followed every lead in the log and could find nothing obvious--had me chasing my tail all around IKE...
If I'd direct Defender to do a custom AV scan of just drive c:\, then when scanning, after anywhere from 242k files to ~320k files had been scanned (it varied with each attempt) the entire desktop would hard lock--I'd get the green screen with that explanation. I'd decided it was a software problem relative to the 18323 build and was just about to revert to 18317 when I saw we had another build in the hopper!
Off line scan completed with no problems. But am downloading the new build right now!
--Hope I don't see this again--because I have to admit that it has been several builds since I've done a custom AV scan of C:\! At first I was worried that it might be some hardware failing--but don't think so. Nothing else is causing problems--just the AV scan of that one drive--my NVMe boot drive, wouldn't ya; know.
Anyone see anything similar lately?
OH--almost forgot--18323 watermark, bottom right corner, is very evident here!...
