I can't even get back into the Insider program for some reason. Quite the informative error message there:

Edit: Fixed it by deleting WindowsSelfHost from the registry (after backing it up of course) and then trying to join again.

Yes. Now I’m good. And I sent another message to insider hub about internet explorer’s lack of menu. It seems Microsoft is planning to keep internet explorer since they are calling for users of IE10 to upgrade to IE 11—from ziffdavis article today

    Hi folks
IE11 for some people seems to work (with menus) if you delete all the options (via right mouse on settings) and then exit IE11. Now re-boot and re-enable the options.

I wish however the language problem would be fixed though -- I installed via update and now I have some items in Eng and some in Isl. and if you go into advanced options to change (welcome screen and accounts) it just hangs -- I think this defect has been there for the last two "skippy's"

I think one still needs IE11 for some applications that require calls to Active-X - some 3rd party corporate software still makes use of this and especially big companies often don't change working backend software until they absolutely have to.

FF though still has classical menus etc and works well on this release too.

BTW did anybody else experience password login being changed to passwordless -- it did on mine even though password required option set. By changing password (don't enter anything in old password field) it fixed the problem.

    Cheers

    I still appreciate IE.
Still heavily integrated with the OS, and YouTube doesn't default to that hideous non-polymer UI!
