Do I really have to put up with this slow opening of programs? Possibly the Skippy builds will "Skip over" some of these problems.

I hope this means that they are going to start fixing known problems and stop adding new features to the none skippy builds.
Me too. Stop adding nonsense and repair the existing system so it works without BSOD and GSOD.

Chrome was taking 24 - 27 seconds to open, the moment the 'Stop Service' completed, Chrome popped open, tested 3 times...

I'm about to fix all that!

I may be MIA for a while, gonna scrub 'er down to bare metal and pop this bad boy in the case, press a few buttons and sit back and watch the apocalypse!

    I love it.

Kari figured out a clever trick using DISM two ways to help me get 18323 installed on my Dell Venue Pro 11 7130. First use: inject the proper drivers into a customized install.wim file for 18323. Second use: interrupt clean install at the region screen with SHIFT-F10, then use DISM apply-image to install the OS on the machine and bypass the usual error causation. Read all about it at Win10.Guru in Kari's article: Project Dell Venue -- The Second Coming. This was way cool for me, and I learned some terrific new image customization and install techniques. Thanks @Kari!

Oooh, nice - I'll have to read that article in a few minutes.

Yeah, it fixed all the load times of my non-Micro$oft apps - I had similar launch times with Firefox and it was frustrating.

Well, it looks like that everything is slowed down in this build. Last night I tried a moderately "heavy" game CoD Black ops and it was awful. Jumping and out of sync like crazy even at full OC. Some easier ones were not that bad but noticeable slowdown. Switched to 1809 and it was flying as usual. Same drivers etc. Now I'm noticing that unzipping and stuff like that is also slower.

No bugs here so far, WU, uupdump (10 minutes) and Defender. Just AMD UI that does not show up.

I never get the Store back, (after foolishly Powershelling it off my system), with any update, anymore!...

I'm afraid even an in place upgrade wont help here, if you killed the Store you'll need to either revert to a previously saved system image or a clean install.
