]Well, here in Arkansas, there's a solution to stealing mail from mailboxes; everyone has either a shot gun or a rifle.

Same in my parts - 50 miles from nowhere.

I'm close enough to town for easy shopping, but far enough out that I don't have to contend with traffic and all that stuff.

My neighborhood has locked mailboxes with the mailman carrying the master key.. There are two locked boxes for packages. The mailman puts the package key in your box. It is common in my town and has been over 30 years.

Our town is so small there is no mail delivery. We all go to the post office to pick up our mail.

It's not enough that it's not running, it has to be disabled...
