We just released Version 1901 (Build 11231.20080), a preview of the January 2019 feature update for Office 365 subscribers on Windows. Give it a try! From any Office app, go to the File > Account menu and check for updates.

Get their attention with @mentions (PowerPoint, Word)
Use @mentions in comments to let co-workers know when you need their input.
Collaborate effectively with comments and @mentions (Excel)
Keep the conversation going right in your worksheet with the built-in reply box and let co-workers know that you need their input by using @mentions.
Find that file fast (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Looking for a file you worked on recently? Just type a few keywords in the Search box in Backstage (File > Home page) to find the file you’re looking for.
Increase the reach of your content (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Need to make your documents, spreadsheets, or presentations accessible? Let the accessibility checker keep an eye on it for you, without getting in the way. Try it by clicking Review > Check Accessibility – we’ll tell you when we find something you need to look at in the status bar.
They’ll see what you meme (Outlook)
When text or static images just won’t do, use an animated GIF to make your point.
All your encryption options in one place (Outlook)
Manage the security of your email messages by setting the appropriate level of permission using Options > Encrypt.

This update failed to install for me on 2 different machines ( 1 at work the other at home )
Just sat there with the downloading office updates screen for over an hour on each.
No network activity in the task manager either.
Ended up killing all the office click to run processes in the task manager and did a full repair install.
Downloaded and installed just fine (Only took 5 - 10 minutes at home )
Now running the latest version on each
I have the same problem, Office update just sits there and does nothing.

I just joined the insider club to see if I could install this. No problem at all. It installed in the first try.
