    Oh? And you believe everything you're told?

    I think Microsoft got tired of us talking about BSOD and decided to change things up a bit . . .

    As I dont care for GSOD's, or re-adjusting post upgrade settings and applications, I will hold off on build 18305.1003 until the 19H1 RTM, as it's stable for me, having entirely skipped version 17763 altogether

    Well, during all these years I have seen a lot of error colors, from black to rainbow but that's mostly result of overclocking or bad HW. In last few builds also from incompatibility of some applications like VMware etc. ..... happens, you know.

    If running on a VM on a Linux host using VMWARE and you want to enable hardware acceleration and 3d graphics it's not sufficient just to have the correct graphics installed on the GUEST.

    You need also to add this line to the .vmx file before starting the VM.

    mks.gl.allowBlacklistedDrivers = "TRUE"

    You can also add that line to the ~/.vmware/preferences file. This will enable 3-acceleration globally.

    Cheers

    18305 was 2 builds ago. What are you running? And are you running it as production instead of the RTM?

    OMGosh, Shawn! Just wondering; are those clickable links?
    It was only the bottom "Skip for now" link or "Let's go" button that was clickable. The rest was just what it will help you set up if not already and wanted to.

    I clicked the "Link your phone" link, it worked. Entered my phone number, got a text message telling my phone is already linked.

    @f14tomcat:
    I am running 18305.1003, as production, no issues . When rtm arrives, I will update. I dont really "produce" anything, other than documents and online activities, I also heavily customize the OS, which I dont like doing too often on upgrades.
    Also, automatic updates and all and any telemetry are disabled and locked down.

    Interesting. I assumed they weren't clickable.

    I tried clicking on all of them and nothing happened. They must only work on random computers.
