If you changed the registry key in the previous build, as mentioned in the Feedback hub, it is supposed to appear, it is not A/B test.
Ah OK. I did that but I had to go to an earlier build because it wouldn't update. So I lost it.

Don't actually need it as I have about 100GB free on C: partition. 20GB is least I ever had on system drive.

Me neither but it does need testing. It's an ideal candidate for MSs next release disaster.

Disasters can and will happen no matter what. I think it's aimed for small devices with little storage. Windows will complain long time before 7GB is actually reached. I continually end up with windows.old at over 25GB (last one was 28.5GB) than there's 3.7GB download and SxS that can reach quite high numbers. Noticed that C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download was emptied out during first phases of installation but haven't checked Temp and SxS folders. Hope I'll remember to check those at next build that should save some space.

Yes, it was a quick and easy download/install. I haven't found any new glitches yet...

Me too. Very quick and easy with no problems at all.

Thank you, Shawn! I will definitely make use of that! I hate that stupid blur!

I also hate that stupid blur effect.

Installing on both PCs right now. Was never able to get 18309 installed on my Dell Venue Pro 11. Both 18312 and 18309 went fine on the Dell XPS 2720. Fingers crossed for success on both machines right now. Upgrades seem like more chancy lately. Is it just me, or is it because we're still early into a new Insider Preview cycle?

Kind of ironic that the fix for the terrible feature was not introduced with such fanfare as the feature itself was!

That "feature" might have been an accident or byproduct, there's no use for it. you could just make it same as single colored background or black.

The new Storage reserve is in effect with this build. This is on my Oracle VM with 4GB RAM and 48.2GB Virtual HDD.Attachment 220347Attachment 220348
I don't have this. And I'm not sure what advantage this would give over the old system?
