    Getting things ready still means "Downloading like crazy " !!!!! Wonder if they are ever going to fix that ?

    hmmm... for me the Downloading part takes just 1-2 minutes and according to data that gets stored in the setup folder that is quite accurate. It's the other stuff that takes ages and there's nothing much that can be done about that if we want to get updates as reliably as possible without losing the ability to revert to previous builds.

    EDIT: They could ofc multithread the process more aggressively for massive speed gains.

    Yes, what they call Downloading may be something else. Task manger shows a lot of DL right now and message is still same.

    We have been calling for a Linux type verbose install for like ... uhmm forever -- unlikely to happen - way overdue IMHO.
