Just downloaded the ISO (not the Media Creation Tool) and is still 17763.107.
I guess Shawn's post is specifically for 17763.253 ISO via Media Creation Tool only!

Yes, I used the MCT to make the ISO and it's 17763.253.

Did you use the 'F12 / user agent string emulation' method to get the iso direct? Out of interest I had a look at that method and was surprised to see you get a choice of 1809 or 1803 ISOs.

    Yes
I did it with the user agent emulation and got 17763.107. That's how I always get the iso.

Which one? This is the second time the 1809 ISO has been updated. The initial 2nd Oct. release (with that infamous bug) was 17763.1, the re-released fixed ISO was 17763.107, and now it's been updated again.
The ignorant me has the iso from first release day "17763.1" and didn't know they get updated!

Same here, I used an ISO that I downloaded more than 2 weeks ago, however all that happens is that after Windows installation finishes, it goes out and does updates. It actually asks you if you want to.

MS does not inform us of newer versions ... :sigh:

1803 ISO got an update to:

    en-uk_windows_10_consumer_editions_version_1803_updated_jan_2019_x64_dvd_a9f72cbb.iso

.. 'suppose 1809 will soon as well.

PS: note the change in language code from "en-gb" to "en-uk".... The old "en-us" is now just "en".
