Why, both of my machines work great with Skippy, there's nothing so debilitating to make it unusable. I did all my work with Autocad with it.
Are you serious? For production use? You have to be kidding, right?

No kidding at all. (borrowed) 2017 Autocad worked like a charm.

I use Skippy for my go-to, cuz once I'm in, I'm too lazy to boot to the other side!!!

What is not important, production is. If your business depends on reliable operation and clean data, a Beta Windows is definitely NOT for you.

For production use I would not even use a just released new Windows Version. They are still containing too many bugs. Maybe 3-6 months after release, there are enough patches that MS change the status to ready for business. Then I'd consider mass installing the new version after extensive tests on a test machine.

that's overlly cautious, latest builds sometimes were better than current branch, certainly not dangerous

I am fortunate enough to have two machines so I have stable release on the machine I use for work and insider on the other machine.

This was THE last professional project I did in Autocad and associated programs and was very important but didn't take any extraordinary precautions I wouldn't do anyway in normal circumstances. Continuous backup of resulting files and full system backups. Nothing could go wrong save for nuclear explosion and nothing did.

Good for you, but why would you even recommend someone install a build for production use, that increase the odds for a disaster. I would never do that, nor would I ever make such recommendation. I would not even recommend 1809 for critical tasks. It's way too unpredictable still.
