Just got to say in my opinion (which may not count for much) these last few builds have been appalling bad. Since November I have had no sound (X-fi bug) and countless other issues which I have reported in the correct manner. Ive never had as many problems with a "beta" build in over 20 years. Not sure what's going on but its not good...

Woke up this morning with a restart notice and BIG notice saying that due to extra stuff that it would take longer than usual to complete. Said ok and 15 minutes later was good to go.

Well finally sorted out my problems @Wynona

after running dism/sfc/font reset/uninstall reinstall browsers and a full reset
    still NO change

Sudden thought -- i'm running under a local account, as i allways do, i'll change to my MS account
BINGO all my problems dissappeared, then went back to a local account and that was good to
What a way to correct the problems - unbelieveable

Has anyone looked to see what size the image is when Sandbox is running? I think MS mentioned a nominal (presumably starting) size of 100MB, but surely it must get into the GBs quickly.

And where is it located? Is it persistent, or is it deleted when you close the Sandbox? I can't actually run it to see due to whatever bug is preventing it from working for some.

Not related to Sandbox, but this build continues with the weird, occasional audio stuttering caused by short bursts of CPU by the SysMain (former Superfetch) service, which is not disabled by default here because the system contains more than just an SSD. No loss in disabling this service. There are several feedback items on this ranging back 3 months, but it was only recently that I put two and two together to figure out what was going on. Originally, I thought it was a bug with the audio driver, etc.

Is anyone other than me experiencing that themes from the Store are downloaded but can't be applied? After hitting the Apply button, nothing happens. The theme files are downloaded to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps.
I also saw this in build 18305.
Checked and I also have this problem. I tried Amazon Rain Forest and found the Theme was downloaded but never applied. Found it here:

    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.AmazonRainforest_1.0.0.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe

I opened the Theme folder there and double clicked on AmazonRainforest.deskthemepack and it installed. Looks like that's the step they broke.

    Hi there

    @Cliff S
I got that defect too -- the language change freezes when you go into advanced settings and copy new language to current and new user accounts (language-->advanced settings).

Some people report also that you can't install new themes from the store although they download OK. You can change existing installed themes. I didn't experience that problem myself but others have had it.

I got another defect in VMWare -- sometimes trying to remove a USB drive (remove and re-attach to the host) the VM hangs. On re-booting the Host the VM just stays in a blank screen. Re-installing VMWare seems to fix this (or restoring the VM).
The problem with USB devices seems random and I suspect it's a HOST (Windows) problem rather than VMWare.

Still this is a test build so one has to expect errors -- the Language problem though seems to me to be inexcusable on a new build. Problems in VMWare etc I can understand but not with the base functionality of Windows - including management of external USB devices.

    Cheers

I can't even mount USB drives in VMWare Player. Every time I try Linux Mint and VMWare freezes and I have to do a cold boot to get VMWare working again. This started about 3 or 4 builds ago. I don't have any problems running VirtualBox.

Nope it didn't fix a damn thing

But the Reset function in itself worked great.

Since it didn't fix the Enhanced Mode problem, it's a good thing I created a checkpoint before executing reset
