Probably for me because im still old school, if I could have Edge run my favourites open and close the way they do on IE11 Id be happy to use it but saying it don't do that then I have to continue being old school, incidentally the use of open shell to restore the menu bar didn't work
There is something weird going on here. When I checked this morning after you posted I could turn on and off the menu bar. A bit later after a reboot the menu bar was gone even though it was ticked.

Wynona, I used your fix and it worked. I tried to upvote your post and Feedback Hub said I do not have permission to vote on this post.

    Thanks much,

Hmm, I have 1.0.1.7. I'll look for 1.1.0-beta.1. Still, where are there any instructions? I have not been able to find any and I have searched.

I hope they do something about it, 2nd build in a row with the menu bar issue, problem replicated in feedback video I provided last month but nothing done.

Not used IE since IE9 so I'm not really bothered.

    Hi there
Whether it's Edge or any other application Windows is still a desktop OS where a lot of people especially those with large screen(s) want menus -- we don't want the OS to behave like a MOBILE PHONE with a large screen.

    Firefox still has menus BTW.

    Cheers
