I removed IE using the 'Turn Windows Features On or Off' when i first installed Windows 10. I bet a lot of people did. Does this mean it still needs patching? Or does this update re-install IE and then patch it?

Correct me if i'm wrong but this patch will probably get included in the normal Patch Tuesday CU release next month?
Well that seems to prove that 'removing' IE using the aforementioned method only really removes links to it. It's still there, lurking deep within the OS like some deep sea monster!
Guess i should do the update then. It's a Zero Day exploit apparently which explains why it was pushed out. Nice to see it's still living up to it's nickname.
This update changed my system's sound settings.
It changed the output from my mobo stereo output to my (inop) monitor speakers.
Why would it do that???
Glad I figured it out...
All this did was break my start menu, making it take a second or longer to open.
