My system is running faster with this CU. I think MS fixed other stuff as well as I do not even use IE.

The problem is.. .... IE is embedded... using it or not, it's a security risk. If your system is more efficient now, it's perhaps 'cause they are finally getting rid of it's tentacles.

    Not bad at all!

It failed the first time, we got 2 for the price of one on the 19th.* What is KB4470788. We never saw this file, maybe because it's hidden in Control Panel.

No errors apart Distributed COM [10016] that comes back frequently. Event Viewer>System.

CORTANA IS WAY TOO BIG, we wish to get back Search Windows size.

Thanks in advance for making it resizable.

1809 is a nice piece of work. Rock solid here.

All the best for the year to come,

NB: Internet Options was reset default here. We are removing IE.

From the first post in this thread...................

    Before installing this update
Microsoft strongly recommends you install the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU). SSUs improve the reliability of the update process to mitigate potential issues while installing the LCU. For more information, see Servicing stack updates.

If you are using Windows Update, the latest SSU (KB4470788) will be offered to you automatically. To get the stand-alone package for the latest SSU, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog.

2 of 5 machines done, 2 underway. I'll get the Boss's (my wife's) machine later. Here we go again, eh?

Two laptops and two desktops updated themselves. All running great as usual.
